MARYAM GABER
my heart is in my stomach
please tell mama
Tell mama I ate tomatoes, tell her I found the green tea here, the same one she used to get me

Tell mama I sleep well now, sometimes it takes an hour of reading, but I do sleep

Tell her I dream of good things, last Monday night I dreamt of Greece. I always dream of Greece, I don’t know why.

I’m sure she will remember.

Please tell mama I’m sorry I left her when she really didn’t want me to.
Tell her that when I used to cry it wasn’t because I wanted to leave, I knew I was going to leave, but I cried because I knew I wouldn’t have her with me when I leave

Tell her to stop calling when its 5 am there, and she has no reason to be awake. Tell her to go to bed when its 10 pm her time not mine.

Tell mama to call me when her tears are dry.

Tell her that when I’m cold on the phone when she is crying, it’s because I try to hold myself from crying.
when i was ten
When I was ten I thought I was absolutely in love.
I defined love by the increase of heartbeats when I get closer, and the hundred minutes of random thoughts before falling asleep.
